My self-portrait shows a bit of my extremely playful personality. That I am unafraid to step out of the threshold of “traditional” beauty and create my own versions of what I deem beautiful.  

 

ON YOUR PASSION

My hope is that with my platform in the beauty industry I can be a part of the shift that will result in our society acknowledging and celebrating people who look like me as beautiful and deserving of ease in their daily lives. I want people to leave with the impression that Black people are deserving of leading peaceful, beautiful lives and that we will continue our pursuit of these lifestyles unapologetically and earnestly.
